John founded Independent Insurance Brokerage in 1992. He has been a top-rated agent with numerous carriers and has won many accolades throughout the years. He has always been extremely dedicated to his clients and has earned a reputation for always going above and beyond.
John has been married for 45 years with 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He is the president of a car enthusiast club and is a well-known individual in the Hot Springs community.
Matthew Grant

Matthew started early in the business and has been with the agency for 20 years. He quickly became a leading producer with companies like Arkansas BlueCross BlueShield and QualChoice. He has always made great strides to provide the best service possible.
Matthew has been married for 15 years to his wife, Paula. They have one daughter together. He and his family were previously featured in Stroll the Lakeside Area magazine, formally Lakeside District Living. He has studied Krav Maga for 10 years and helps instruct self-defense classes weekly at Krav Fit.
He was invited as a member of the Hot Springs Executive Association last year. In 2024, he was recognized as part of the Circle of Champions, which includes the top-performing agents of the Health Insurance Marketplace.
